The app
This applies to the app on iPhone, iPad and Android and to the web app in the browser.
- Progress, cooked recipes, Moomli’s wardrobe, the language and the music and voice settings are stored only on the device (in the web app, in the browser’s local storage). This data never leaves the device and we cannot see it.
- You delete it by deleting the app or clearing the website data in your browser.
- The app does not ask for access to the camera, microphone, location, contacts or photos.
- The app contains no ads, no analytics and no third-party tools that collect data.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the one-time purchase are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). They process your payment and account data under their own privacy policies (Apple, Google). We receive no payment data and no name, only confirmation that a purchase exists so the app can unlock the recipes.
Website and web app
This website and the web app are hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, the time, the page requested and the browser type in order to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
We use no cookies, no tracking pixels and no analytics tools. Fonts and images are served from our own server; nothing is loaded from Google or other providers.
When you email us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Our mailbox is hosted by Zoho Corporation in data centres in the EU. We delete messages once your request is settled, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Children
The app is made for children aged about 2 to 6. We do not collect any data from children. The children’s area contains no external links and no way to buy anything; the parents’ area and purchases are protected by a long press and a maths task. The app follows the rules of the Apple and Google kids categories and the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to processing and to data portability. Just email us. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example in the country where you live.
Changes
If anything in the app changes that affects privacy, we will update this policy. The current version is always available here.
